Factory & Partnership
Who we are, who we work with and how to begin.
Are you a manufacturer, and where is your factory?
EZ Equestrian develops and manufactures riding apparel at our directly operated factory on Xintai Road, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China. The business was founded in 2008. Yiwu Yihui Trading Company handles our overseas export business and shipment documentation.
Do you work with new brands, riding schools and distributors?
Yes. We work with equestrian brands, riding schools and clubs, and riding-wear distributors. You can brief a first collection, a coordinated uniform program or an expansion of an existing range. Start with the product types, quantities, target riders and market you want to serve.
What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
For OEM, we develop production around your design, technical specification or reference garment. For ODM, we help develop a product direction from your concept and adapt the pattern, materials and details for your label. In both cases, the agreed sample and specification guide bulk production.
Can I arrange a factory visit or discuss the production process?
Contact us before planning a visit to our Dongguan factory so we can confirm availability and the areas relevant to your project. If you cannot travel, ask which production information or remote discussion can be arranged for your sourcing review.
MOQ, Pricing & Orders
Plan styles, colors, sizes and the commercial details of your order.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom riding wear?
Our minimum is 100 pieces per style per color. One style in two colors starts at 200 pieces; three different styles in one color each start at 300 pieces. Send the style-and-color breakdown so we can confirm the order plan and any component-specific requirements.
Can I mix sizes within the minimum order?
You can propose a size assortment within one style-and-color order. Send the quantity for each size so we can review grading and production needs. Sizes do not combine separate styles or colors into one minimum; each style-and-color combination still starts at 100 pieces.
Do you offer ready-stock equestrian clothing or made-to-order wholesale?
Our equestrian apparel wholesale service is made-to-order bulk production. We agree the garment specification, colors, size assortment, branding and sample before production. The garment minimum is 100 pieces per style per color. Ask us to confirm availability and the production schedule for your chosen design rather than assuming immediate dispatch from stock.
What affects the price of custom equestrian clothing?
Price depends on the pattern and construction, fabric, grip or decoration, trims, size assortment, packaging and order quantity. Sampling, testing and freight can also affect the project total. Compare quotations against the same specification and ask which costs are included.
What are your payment terms?
The payment method, deposit, balance and payment milestones are confirmed in the quotation and order agreement. Ask us to include them with your project estimate so you can plan the purchase. Do not assume that a general website price includes sampling, testing or freight.
Can I reorder an approved style?
Yes. Send the previous order reference, quantities, sizes, colors and any changes you need. We review fabric and trim availability, the approved specification and the current schedule before confirming the repeat order. A retained reference sample helps keep the discussion precise.
Sampling & Timelines
Define a brief, review the sample and agree the production schedule.
What should I send to get a useful quotation?
Send the product category, reference images or tech pack, quantity per style and color, size range, fabric requirements, logo artwork, packaging needs and delivery destination. Include a required arrival date if you have one. If some details are undecided, we can discuss options before confirming the quotation.
Can I approve a sample before bulk production, and how long does it take?
Yes. Custom sample development takes three weeks after the design, materials and key details are confirmed. That covers more than sewing the sample: sourcing, pattern work and review also affect timing. We confirm the scope and schedule for your actual design before starting.
Are samples free, and is the fee credited to a bulk order?
Sample fees depend on the garment, materials, artwork and development work. Any revision charge, courier cost or credit against a later bulk order is agreed for your project. We confirm those terms before sampling; there is no universal free-sample or automatic refund promise.
What should I check before approving a sample?
Review measurements and riding fit, fabric feel and color, grip or logo placement, seams, closures, labels and packaging against the agreed brief. Record requested changes clearly. The approved sample and written specification should describe what bulk production is expected to match.
How long does bulk production take, and can you meet an event deadline?
Bulk timing is confirmed after the sample, materials, quantity and production slot are agreed. Our process timeline provides planning windows, rather than a guaranteed arrival date for every order. Send your event or launch date early; production, inspection, dispatch and transit need separate allowances.
Fabrics & Quality
Compare materials, approve colors and define the checks your product needs.
Can you help us select fabrics for different seasons and riders?
Yes. We compare composition, weight, stretch, recovery, hand feel and finish around your garment, women’s or men’s fit, season and budget. Our breeches, tops and jacket pages show starting options. Select the actual swatch and review it in the garment before approving bulk materials.
Can you match our brand colors?
Send a physical reference or an agreed color standard for the fabric and decoration. Stock shades and custom color development have different availability and order requirements. Screen images and generated product photos are visual references; approve physical swatches or relevant color submissions for the order.
Can I request UPF, waterproof or other performance requirements?
Yes. Include the intended market, required performance and any test method or report you need in your brief. We review fabric and finished construction together, then confirm applicable documentation and testing arrangements. A fabric photograph or general category name does not establish a tested garment rating.
How do you check production quality?
We review incoming materials, cutting and sewing, measurements, grip or artwork placement, labels and packing, followed by a finished-garment check before release. Agree the key measurements, tolerances and inspection needs with the order so checks refer to the same approved specification.
Branding & Private Label
Choose decoration, artwork, labels and packaging for your brand.
Which custom branding methods can I choose?
We offer embroidery, screen-printed silicone, heat transfer and metal badges, alongside label development. The choice depends on artwork detail, fabric stretch, placement, desired feel and garment construction. We review the method on the selected material and approve its appearance on a sample.
Can you supply our labels, hang tags and packaging?
Yes. Include your woven or printed labels, care and size labels, hang tags, bags and carton requirements in the brief. Send the artwork and required wording for your destination market. The specification, quantities and costs are confirmed with the order.
What logo files and placement information do you need?
A clear vector file is the most useful starting point, with the intended print size, colors and placement marked on a garment drawing or reference image. A raster image can start the discussion, but we may need clearer artwork before making the decoration sample.
Product Development
Specific questions about riding breeches, tops and equestrian jackets.
Should I choose full-seat, knee-patch or no silicone grip?
Full-seat silicone covers the seat and inner leg; knee-patch silicone focuses on the inner knee; a no-silicone style keeps those areas as plain fabric. Choose around your target rider’s preference, discipline and garment feel. Coverage alone is not a measured grip rating, so compare the actual samples.
Can you develop breeches from our size chart or reference pair?
Yes. Send waist, rise, hip, inseam and leg-opening measurements, the size range and a reference pair or tech pack. We review waistband, pockets and lower-leg construction together, then check the fit and grading on the sample before approving the production specification.
Can the silicone grip use our own pattern or logo?
Yes, we can review your artwork for a custom grip layout. Specify full-seat or knee placement, motif size, spacing and preferred color. We check the layout against the cut panels and size range, then review definition, alignment and the finish on the selected fabric sample.
Which riding top styles can I customize?
Our four starting categories are competition show shirts, training polo shirts, technical base layers and long-sleeve sun shirts. Customize the collar, opening, sleeves, panel layout, fit and brand details. Share the intended use and reference style so materials and construction can be developed together.
How should I choose between nylon stretch and cotton for riding tops?
Nylon/elastane is a starting option for smooth, close-fitting tops and base layers. Pure cotton offers a natural hand feel for everyday tops and club collections. Choose the fabric weight, construction and fit together; a cotton polo and a fitted technical layer have different pattern and movement needs.
Can you customize collars, mesh panels and team branding on tops?
Yes. Specify a standing or polo collar, button or zip opening, sleeve length, mesh zones and cuff finish. Send the crest or logo with your placement plan. We check panel coverage, arm reach, seam bulk and decoration compatibility on the sample.
Which equestrian jacket styles can I develop?
Choose competition and show jackets, training and practice jackets, or all-weather performance jackets. Each starts with a different purpose: tailored presentation, everyday movement or weather coverage. We adapt the shell, lining, closure, pockets and hem to the style and target rider in your brief.
How do you develop a waterproof riding jacket?
Start with the conditions and performance target, then specify shell fabric, backing or lining, seams, zip protection and cuff construction together. A waterproof fabric alone does not confirm a waterproof finished jacket. Testing and documentation must relate to the selected material and garment construction.
What jacket details should we review for riding fit?
Check forward arm reach, room for layers, sleeve length with gloves, front closure and pocket access while seated. Review back vents and hem balance around saddle contact. For show jackets, also check lapel shape, button spacing and left-to-right symmetry on the sample.
Shipping & After-sales
Confirm the delivery plan, included costs and how to raise an order issue.
Do you supply buyers in the UK, EU, US and other markets?
Yes. We serve buyers in more than 40 countries, including Europe, North America and other international markets. Send the delivery country, postcode, quantities and required date so we can discuss the shipping method and separate production timing from the transit estimate.
Are freight, import duties and customs costs included?
That depends on the shipping terms agreed for the quotation. Ask us to separate the garment price, freight and any other included costs, and confirm who handles import clearance, duties and taxes. The delivery address and selected transport method are needed for a useful estimate.
What should I do if an order differs from the approved specification?
Contact us with the order reference, affected quantities, clear photos or video and the measurements or details in question. We review the information against the approved sample, specification and order agreement, then discuss the appropriate next steps for the reported issue.
