FABRICS WE RECOMMEND

A fabric for the way your riders train.

Compare the smooth stretch of nylon with the natural hand feel of pure cotton. Choose the material around your riding top’s fit, finish and intended use.

01 / MATERIAL DIRECTION

Nylon stretch fabric

75% Nylon / 25% Elastane

Soft, smooth and flexible

A fine, smooth surface gives fitted riding tops a clean finish. The nylon and elastane blend offers stretch for close-fitting cuts, allowing the fabric to follow the rider’s movement without adding unnecessary bulk.

Pure cotton fabric

100% Cotton

Natural hand feel and everyday comfort

Pure cotton offers a soft, natural feel for everyday riding and club collections. Choose the fabric construction and weight around your polo or casual top, with enough ease in the pattern for comfortable movement.

Options to discussFabric weight · Knit or woven construction · Color matching

A fabric recommendation for every collection.

We also recommend fabrics by season, women’s or men’s fit and the required performance. Discuss lighter summer knits, warmer layering fabrics or tested moisture-management and UV-protection options. Fabric weight and composition are confirmed with your selected swatch.

COMFORT IN MOTION

Build the function into the design.

Neckline, ventilation and seam placement work together. Select the features your riders need rather than adding the same construction to every top.

01

Mesh & panel placement

Targeted ventilation

Place mesh under the arms or along the side and back panels to create a lighter construction in selected areas. Keep coverage appropriate for the intended use.

02

Comfort under layers

Low-profile seams

Plan seam routes away from high-contact areas. Flat or low-profile finishes help reduce bulk where sleeves, side panels and base layers meet.

03

Choose your silhouette

Collars & sleeve coverage

Use a show collar, polo collar or quarter zip to define the style. Adjust sleeve length, cuff shape and thumbholes around the season and riding activity.

THE EZ EQUESTRIAN DIFFERENCE

A consistent fit, from panel to finish.

We develop the pattern, fabric and trims together so the approved top gives production a clear reference.

01

Accurate panel matching

Align shoulder, sleeve and side-panel markings to keep the neckline and body balanced.

02

Stretch-aware sewing

Review stitch choice and seam tension against the selected knit and its recovery.

03

Clean collar finishing

Check placket shape, zip backing and collar symmetry on the finished sample.

04

Artwork placement

Confirm decoration size and position with the top laid flat and worn.

CUSTOM RIDING TOP DETAILS

Designed around your details.

Plan the collar, closure, panels and finishing on a front-and-back design sketch. Each detail is adapted to the selected show shirt, polo, base layer or sun shirt.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about this product?

Three answers to help shape your design. Find MOQ, sampling, payment and delivery guidance in our FAQ center.

View all FAQs
Which riding top styles can I customize?

Our four starting categories are competition show shirts, training polo shirts, technical base layers and long-sleeve sun shirts. Customize the collar, opening, sleeves, panel layout, fit and brand details. Share the intended use and reference style so materials and construction can be developed together.

How should I choose between nylon stretch and cotton for riding tops?

Nylon/elastane is a starting option for smooth, close-fitting tops and base layers. Pure cotton offers a natural hand feel for everyday tops and club collections. Choose the fabric weight, construction and fit together; a cotton polo and a fitted technical layer have different pattern and movement needs.

Can you customize collars, mesh panels and team branding on tops?

Yes. Specify a standing or polo collar, button or zip opening, sleeve length, mesh zones and cuff finish. Send the crest or logo with your placement plan. We check panel coverage, arm reach, seam bulk and decoration compatibility on the sample.
